Wests (Lincoln) Limited

Wests had sold Standard cars from as early as 1923.  The company was a distributor for Massey Ferguson tractors and had several branches in Lincoln, Horncastle and Louth.

This compliments slip is attached to a warranty document included with a Triumph 2000mk2 originally supplied by Mansbridge 9/3/70 and now owned by Andrew Newman.

I understand that the business closed down in the early 1990's.  The Rumbold Street garage ended by selling Citroen cars. I think that building is now used by the Lincolnshire archives.  They then moved out to a 3 garage site on Wragby Road but only Citroens were sold under the Mansbridge name. The Wragby site was selling furniture in 2009 having stopped selling cars during the late 1990's.
